Automatic Wrapping Equipment and Fixtures

Built for door panels, armrests, trim strips, pillars, instrument-panel trim and other automotive interior parts. Typical processes include skin/leather positioning, adhesive activation, edge wrapping, rolling or pressing, holding/cooling and appearance protection. A/B/C/D/BL platform sizes can be matched to part size, wrapping scope and fixture cycle requirements.

Standard Configuration

Standard Wrapping Configuration

Automatic wrapping equipment and tooling can be configured around part size, wrapping boundary and cycle requirements. Standard content includes in-mold product arrangement, skeleton fixing, push-block wrapping, machine mechanisms and quick-change structures.

Product arrangement inside the wrapping mold

Product arrangement inside the wrapping mold

Parts can be arranged as left/right, symmetric or similar-part cavities, with one-out-one, one-out-two or multi-cavity layouts selected by part length, wrapping boundary and target cycle.

Wrapping fixture skeleton fixing concept

Skeleton fixing and positioning

Dedicated support and local clamping hold the product skeleton on datum, reducing skin offset and edge misalignment during wrapping.

Wrapping fixture push-block mechanism and product example

Push-block wrapping motion

Push blocks follow the process sequence for pressing, edge folding and local closure, with electric mold pressing, hot air or infrared heating for complex edges.

D-type automatic wrapping equipment mechanism configuration

D-type platform mechanism

The equipment integrates dual servo drive, automatic table balancing, one-touch fixture changeover, process recipe storage, MES data communication and remote support.

Quick-change locking structure for automatic wrapping fixtures

Upper/lower mold quick locking

The upper plate uses cylinder hook locking, while the lower mold uses quick-change clamping to improve changeover speed and repeat positioning.

Wrapping Cases

Wrapping Product Case Gallery

The gallery covers instrument-panel trim, door inserts, long trim parts and complex corner structures, helping you quickly judge equipment fit for different interior-part geometries.

Yellow callouts mark the focus areas for skin fit, stretch transitions, in-mold alignment, corner closure and visible-surface continuity.
