CNC Fixtures and Welding Fixtures

CNC and welding fixtures are the foundation of stable custom equipment. NBKEM designs location, clamping, support, transfer and quick-change structures according to product datums, loading path, machining allowance, welding deformation and changeover requirements.

Fixture Engineering

Fixture Specification Reference

Fixture parameters depend on part rigidity, datum system and the machining or welding equipment. Design review focuses on loading path, tool access, surface protection, repeatability and service space for changeover.

Fixture typesCNC milling fixtures, welding fixtures, checking-aid fixtures, transfer fixtures, mold-change trolleys and flexible welding head structures
Location methodsMain datum pins, auxiliary location blocks, contour support, vacuum holding, mechanical clamping and adjustable location units
Material optionsAluminum alloy, steel components, nylon/resin supports and polyurethane protection blocks selected according to surface requirements
Accuracy controlRepeatability, datum consistency and clamping deformation are confirmed according to drawing requirements; critical dimensions can include inspection datums
Changeover and serviceQuick-change interfaces, locating bushings, poka-yoke structures, wear-part list, lifting/transfer interfaces and service access
Recommended inputPart data, machining/welding areas, datum definition, appearance protection needs, machine interfaces and changeover frequency

CNC Fixture Engineering

From 3D validation to complete fixture manufacture

Location, support, clamping and clearance structures are developed around part datums, machining areas and machine interfaces. Loading paths, motion interference and service access are verified before manufacture to improve repeatability and reduce on-site adjustment.

Fixture assembly designLocation, support and clamping units are configured from part datums and machining requirements, balancing rigidity, accessibility and surface protection.
Long-part fixture controlDistributed support and staged clamping reduce long-part deflection and maintain datum consistency across machining areas.
3D assembly and interference reviewLoading paths, motion envelopes, machine interfaces and wear-part access are verified before manufacture.
